WILLISTON, N.D. (KFGO) – The Williston Police Department has placed a middle school resource officer on paid administrative leave while he is investigated for alleged misconduct.
A department spokeswoman said Officer Jory Forsberg is accused of threatening, and using excessive force against, a juvenile during last Friday’s homecoming football game.
The Williston Police and Human Resource Departments are working with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation to review the case.
Due to the investigation and age of the alleged victim, the department cannot say if the juvenile is a student at a Williston school.
