RUGBY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a driver was found dead in a car in a grove of trees east of Rugby.
Authorities say the car was westbound on U.S. Highway 2 sometime Monday when it ran off the roadway, entered a ditch, struck
an approach, vaulted, rolled on its roof, and came to rest in the trees.
Tuesday, law enforcement received a report of an overdue motorist, and several hours later, the car was discovered by law enforcement.
The 73-year-old woman was Cynthia Meyer from Devils Lake.
