NIELSVILLE, Minn. (KFGO) – Authorities in northwestern Minnesota’s Polk County say the body of a woman found in a cornfield yesterday has been positively identified as that of 60-year-old Beth Super, the woman who was reported missing from the central part of the state over the weekend.
Super’s car was found abandoned on Sunday near Nielsville, about 22 miles southwest of Crookston. She had been reported as missing from Morrison County where she was last seen leaving her home in Flensburg Saturday morning. Super was supposed to be going to a residence in Todd County but never arrived.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says there are no public safety concerns.
The Grand Forks UAS Team and the Beltrami Fire Department assisted with the recovery of Super’s body, which was taken to the UND School of Medicine Forensic Pathology Department for an autopsy and identification.
