ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minnesota House of Representatives State Fair poll finding 73% support has re-energized a push to allow terminally-ill patients to end their lives with health care providers’ assistance.
Paul Stark at Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life calls it “assisted suicide.”
Bill sponsor and doctor, Democratic Sen. Kelly Morrison of Deephaven says there are some cases where it is not possible to relieve the pain. Morrison says those people are dying and want some control over when that will happen.
