BEMIDJI, Minn. (KFGO) – Three men have been charged in the stabbing death of a man in Bemidji Saturday morning.
Bemidji Police said officers and Beltrami County deputies responded to the 1800 block of Minnesota Avenue NW around 3:30 a.m. on a report of an assault in progress.
When officers arrived, a man was dead from stab wounds, and several witnesses were at the scene who identified the victim and gave a description of the suspects.
The victim was identified as Andrew Lee Fisher, 18, of rural Bemidji.
Based on information from witnesses, the Headwaters SWAT Team served a warrant at 1800 Minnesota Court NW where they searched the home and took several people into custody.
Three people have been arrested and charged with aiding and abetting murder. They are 20-year-old Daniel Keezer of Detroit Lakes, 22-year-old Robert Keezer of Mahnomen, Minnesota, and 25-year-old James Burnette of Waubun, Minnesota.
The death remains under investigation.
