LAKE PARK, Minn. (KFGO) – A Dilworth man died over the weekend near Lake Park when he was struck by a car.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office identifies the man as 29-year-old Hunter Standfield.
Deputies responded to County Road 4 near the intersection of Dahlgren Beach Road after a woman reported that she hit someone and the person was lying in the middle of the highway.
The driver has been identified as 32-year-old Samantha Qualley of Lake Park. The 911 call came in shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday.
The circumstances of the death remain under investigation.
