ST. PAUL, Minn. – Starting Aug. 1, bicyclists will be allowed a “rolling stop” at stop signs if no cars are around.
The change was approved by lawmakers as part of a transportation bill that passed during the legislative session, and Gov. Tim Walz is expected to sign into law.
The bill indicates rolling stops only apply at stop signs, not stop lights.
