MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Police arrested a woman for DWI after her car got stuck in a snowbank and started on fire Monday. The incident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. in the 1800 block of 5th Avenue South.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle was fully engulfed and the occupants were out of the vehicle. Arriving officers located the woman driver outside a nearby residence. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire. The exact cause of the fire is unknown. The vehicle was a total loss.
The driver, Jessica Neuleib, of Moorhead, was arrested and was later processed for DWI, booked in at the Clay County Jail, and released.
The Moorhead Police Department and Moorhead Fire Department were assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol.
