In 2019, the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre suffered an unthinkable amount of damage to the structure of their building and were unable to continue a popular run of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”
KFGO stepped up and recorded the performance in our studios, produced a radio version thanks to Judy Lewis (then director of the show, now the Executive Director of FMCT) and with the help of audio master Billy Kidd…we have a new annual tradition.
ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23rd 2023, KFGO WILL AIR “A CHRISTMAS CAROL” FROM 7pm to 9pm!

More than 30 cast members packed into the studios on a cold December night to record their performance.
This will be the third year in a row that KFGO broadcasts this holiday classic.
