FARGO (KFGO) – A band teacher at Fargo South High School has been charged with two felonies including corruption of a minor.
43-year-old Sebastian Tackling was arrested by Fargo Police Saturday night after a teenage girl confided to a family friend that she was having a sexual relationship with Tackling. She said it happened at his home, a classroom at the high school, and at Lewis and Clark Elementary School and started when she was 17.
Tackling is also charged with having prohibited materials. Police say Tackling admitted to exchanging sexually explicit photos and videos with the student, who said the sex took place during her junior and senior years. He was arrested at the police station after agreeing to be interviewed.
Tackling has been with the school district for more than a decade. He was placed on administrative leave following his arrest.
