ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced that it is recommending four candidates for consideration to fill two vacancies in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District.
The commission has recommended Leah duCharme and Stormy Vickers be considered for the seat in Clay County.
duCharme is a senior shareholder at Gjesdahl Law in Fargo where she practices family law. Vickers is a solo practitioner specializing in criminal defense at Vickers Law.
Heidi Schultz and Greta Smolnisky are recommended for Stearns County.
The vacancies will occur upon the retirement of the Honorable Kris H. Davick-Halfen and the resignation of the Honorable Amber B. Gustafson.
