FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo woman sentenced to more than six years in prison for a stabbing led to a lengthy standoff with police last May. Earlier, 31-year-old Ashley Ivy Larson had pleaded guilty. Larson was accused of attacking two women in the parking lot of Mexican Village on Main Avenue.
She’d asked them for a ride before stabbing one of the women. She refused to leave their car, and Red River Valley “SWAT” was called.
Larson was also charged with stabbing a man in an apartment before the standoff. However, that charge was dismissed because the victim would not cooperate with the police.
