ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Salvation Army Northern Division is sending its first team of disaster response workers to Louisiana Sunday.
The team of four Minnesota women will be relieving other emergency workers by taking a mobile feeding unit to Gonzales, Louisiana for two weeks. The organization has been providing meals, water, supplies and care to areas affected by flooding and power outages.
The Salvation Army in Minnesota and North Dakota are working to assemble additional teams to deploy in areas affected by Hurricane Ida.
