Actor Jeff Bridges revealed a newly shaved head in his latest health update.
Bridges wrote, “Feeling good. Shaved my head. Got a puppy — Monty. Had a Birthday — 71, man.”
Bridges accompanied the update with a picture of himself displaying his newly bald pate, lounging in a chair with the adorable dog on his lap.
Bridges revealed in October that he had been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Later in the month, he said, “This cancer thing is bringing on feelings of preciousness, and gratitude, and good old fashion love, and lots of it, big time.”
Bridges expanded on his tweet on his personal website Monday.
He wrote, “Well … here’s the next batch of what I want to point out. Music — we need it, man & all our musicians are having a hell of a time making a living these days w/ the COVID deal.” He mentioned his “dear old friend” John Goodwin.
Alongside a link to No Kid Hungry, Bridges added, “The health of our children can serve as a compass, letting us know if we’re on course or not — we’re off course.”
Then, Bridges featured a video of several surfers, calling it “such a great reminder [of] how wonderful life can be.”
He closed by writing, “Be love.”
