ST.PAUL, MN (KFGO) – Minnesota is reporting a new record single-day record of positive COVID-19 cases. The department of health reports 3,844 new positive cases.
The positivity rate was 11.67%. Minnesota’s seven-day positivity rate has risen to 9%
Wednesday’s update includes 31 new deaths, 19 were residents of long-term care facilities. Long-term care deaths have accounted for 1,760 of the state’s 2,530 deaths.
There was an additional 2,230 recoveries for 136,457 total cases no longer needing isolation.
