JAMESTOWN, ND (News Dakota KFGO) – The future of electric cars has made its way to Jamestown.
In an effort to expand stations across the U.S., Tesla has built six stations in Bismarck, Dickinson, Jamestown, Pembina, Grand Forks, and Fargo. According to a Tesla spokesperson, these stations will charge cars faster and offer more range per hour.
Montana Dakota Utilities is providing the energy for the supercharging stations in North Dakota.
The Jamestown supercharging stations are located in the northeast corner of the Buffalo Mall parking lot.
According to CleanTechnica, with North Dakota supercharging stations online, all 48 Continental states now have stations.
There are now 1,870 Tesla Supercharger stations in the U.S. and 16,585 supercharging ports around the world.
