JAMESTOWN (KFGO KQDJ) – The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Jamestown was closed when the canopy collapsed due to snow and wind.
The canopy along the building, which is leased out by the Jamestown Salvation Army, collapsed.
“The Police Department called and said it was the canopy,” Major Tim Nauta reports. “The store was closed luckily. We have been snowed in, as has the landlord, so we are not able to look at it now.”
Jamestown received more than 10 inches of snow, causing poor road conditions and no travel advisories.
