JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO AM) -- Jamestown has a shortage of rental units and single family homes.
The city is seeing some spillover from the oil patch.
There are also plans in the works for both an ethanol and fertilizer plant in Stutsman County.
Jamestown's population has remained steady at around 15,000, but in the next three to four years the city expects to see 20% growth, which is around 3,000 more people.
In around 10 to 15 years, 40% growth.
The city is working with a few developers who hope to break ground on new housing developments within the next year.
