RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- Private dances at Rapid City's lone strip club will soon be not so private.
The City Council voted unanimously Monday night to revise the city's adult-oriented business ordinance to require that there be an unobstructed view of private dance rooms.
Church officials had pushed for the move. Family Heritage Alliance Executive Director Dale Bartscher said adult-oriented businesses hurt families.
Shotgun Willies is the only strip club in Rapid City. Club owner Aaron Johnson didn't comment on Monday night. He had said earlier that the city was taking potshots at his business.
