WASECA, Minn. KFGO AM) -- Counselors will be on hand throughout the day to assist Waseca, Minnesota high school students.
Late last week, 17-year-old student John Ladue was charged in a plot to plant bombs at the school.
Superintendent Tom Lee says even before Ladue was arrested and charged, the district was working on enhanced security measures, including a summer training session with Homeland Security and local law enforcement. Lee says there will also be a new enhanced phone system with lockdown call capabilities.
And a simulated school shooting training exercise with local police is scheduled for July.
