FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- Much of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota is bracing for a major storm that's expected to dump heavy snow late Monday afternoon into the evening.
A Blizzard Warning is posted for the area, including Fargo-Moorhead through early Tuesday, where 6 to 10 inches of snow could fall. Heavier amounts are expected to the north, with lesser amounts to the south into Minnesota lakes country. Forecasters add that snow amounts may be highly variable over short distances. High winds, gusting over 50 mph will create widespread blizzard conditions, making travel hazardous late in the day Monday.
