FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KFGO-AM) -- Three Devils Lake men received hefty speeding tickets after a Highway Patrol trooper clocked them going nearly 100 miles over the posted speed limit.
The men were on crotch-rockets zooming down a highway near Fort Totten when the trooper clocked them going 151 mph in a 55 mph zone.
All three pulled over for the trooper. They'll each have to pay $355 in fines. Additional citations were issued for driving without a motorcycle endorsement and no insurance.
The trio will have to appear in Benson County court next month on reckless driving charges. They could get up to 30-days in jail and be fined up to $1,500.
