Another oil train derailment

NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA (KFGO AM) -- A little more than a week after a train carrying crude oil derailed, burned and exploded near casselton, there's been another derailment.

This time in Canada.

A Canadian National Railway freight train carrying crude oil and propane went off the tracks and caught fire last night in a sparsely populated region of New Brunswick.

It forced the evacuation of homes in a nearby small town.

A railway spokesman could not say whether the train was carrying highly volatile sweet crude from North Dakota's oil patch.

That's the product that was involved in the Casselton derailment, and in derailments and explosions in July in Quebec that killed 47 people and another in November in Alabama.
