TIOGA, ND. (KFGO AM) -- An investigation is underway into the cause of explosions that rocked the Tioga, North Dakota area Monday night.
The blasts and huge fire occurred when a natural gas pipeline southwest of the town ruptured.
Public Service Commission Chairman Brian Kalk credits quick action by pipeline workers for shutting off the supply to the high pressure gas line.
An investigator for the Public Service Commission was on-scene yesterday.
Hiland Partners, the owners, will take the lead in the investigation.
No injuries were reported.
