While other artists may dread hitting the road for extended periods of time, Billy Currington confesses that touring suits his nomadic lifestyle just fine.

“ Yeah, [I’ve] been in Hawaii a little bit, Georgia, California, Key West, Florida. I've just been bouncing around,” he tells ABC News Radio. “Of course, now, I'm bouncing around wherever the tour goes, so that's basically everywhere.”

And wherever his We Are Tonight tour takes Billy, his opening acts Brett Eldredge and Chase Rice are along for the ride.

“Those guys are so cool… They're great guys to hang with, for one thing," Billy says. "But they're great openers for the crowd to get it ready for us to come out there. I mean, they amp everybody up so much. Of course, they come out during the show with us and make it special. I just couldn't ask for better opening acts.”

Billy’s also been known to borrow from one of his heroes to keep the crowd on its toes.

Yeah, we do ‘Friends in Low Places,'" he laughs. “[I] love, love Garth Brooks , so we settled on that one, and it always goes over so good.”

This week, Billy and the boys stop in Kentucky and South Carolina, before heading to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the Tortuga Music Festival on Saturday.
