FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- A Fargo man who was scheduled for trial next week in the murder of his wife has pleaded guilty to murder and tampering with a dead body.
Ronald Rogers, 47, will be sentenced once a background investigation is completed. He faces up to life in prison.
Rogers initially told police that his wife, Elizabeth, shot herself to death during an argument.
The shooting took place in the couple's south Fargo home last February.
