FARGO, ND (KFGO AM) -- Saturday's widespread rainfall across southeast North Dakota and western Minnesota will likely set some records and should provide relief from the parched conditions.
The National Weather Service says the amounts varied but Fargo had one report of just over two inches.
Kathryn, in Barnes County reported 3-1/2 inches.
West Fargo and Pelican Rapids got 2.8 inches. Lake Melissa near Detroit Lakes, 2-1/2 inches.
Wahpeton and Christine ended up with two inches.
Barnesville came in close to that with 1.98 inches.
Elsewhere, rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches were common across Clay, Becker, Norman, Wilkin, Otter Tail, Hubbard, Clearwater and Grant counties.
