Crash takes out power pole in North Fargo

Fargo  (KFGO-AM)  A 22-year old year old Arthur, North Dakota woman was arrested after crashing a pickup into a power pole in Fargo and then fleeing the scene.

Brittany Lentsch was charged with d-u-i. She was also cited for driving under suspension and leaving the scene of an accident.

Sargeant Jim Kringlie says Lentsch sped off in her boyfriend's truck after the two argued. she then struck and sheared off a power pole in the 300 block of 10th Avenue North.

Lentsch ran but police found her a half block away. She and a female passenger had minor injuries. The avenue was blocked briefly because of downed power lines.
