Bottineau, ND (KFGO AM) Bottineau County Sheriff Steve Watson says his phone has been ringing since the Stockman's Association offered a $10,000 reward for information about the brutal killing of a pet pony.
Watson says callers are offering their own idea's about who did it but he believes it's the result of what he calls "coffee shop talk."
Watson tells KFGO News he has questioned two people but there's no evidence pointing to them as suspects. Bad boy, a miniature shetland pony, was chased from a pasture, struck with a pickup, then tied to the back of the truck and dragged.
A private reward fund has also been set up by the animal's owner.
