MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO AM) -- Candidates for mayor and city council faced off last night to discuss top issues in Moorhead.
The League of Women voters held a public forum at the Hjemkomst Center.
Close to 100 people packed the auditorium as three of the four mayoral candidates answered questions on guns, flood protection, businesses, street repair, and elections.
One topic which received a lot of attention had to do with revitalizing the downtown area.
Forum organizers say they don't know where the fourth mayoral candidate, Kevin Shores, was.
Current mayor Mark Voxland earlier announced he would not be running for re-election.
The vote is set for November 5th.
