There's nothing like a concert in the Red River Valley to heat up a bitterly cold night, such as it was this past Saturday at Scheel's Arena with Josh Thompson, Randy Houser and Justin Moore. The 13th of only 57 dates on "Off The Beaten Path" tour featured headliner, Justin Moore rocking the stage with his trademark brand of honky-tonk swagger making the Scheel's Arena his own personal roadhouse.
I've been fortunate enough to see Justin when he was just starting to make the rounds with his first single at country radio and I remember him being very gracious and generous to us for playing his music. Minutes before he took the stage Saturday night, that same gracious, generous artist met a handful of us backstage and confirmed that he was still just that humble, country boy from Poyen, Arkansas who can sing the heck out of a country song.
The night was peppered with all of Justin and company's biggest hits and left no audience member in their seats by the time the show came to a close with "Small Town USA". Thank you Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Josh Thompson for making us your "Small Town USA" for the night!
