The story of Matt Thompson.
Matt was an energetic father of 2 young children with a demanding job. Almost a year ago, July 12th 2013, his life was turned upside down. He was in a serious car accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down with limited use of his hands.
Matt needs your support. Friends and family are holding a lunch/silent auction/bake sale this Saturday June 21st at the El Zagal Shrine in Fargo.
The Matt Thompson Fundraising Event is from 1-4pm that will include a taco bar, a rootbeer float station and a bake sale featuring homemade goodies. There will also be a silent auction featuring gift certificates and items from many local businesses and live music.
You can help Matt raise money to pay for his extensive medical bills, the mechanical lift he uses to get into the house and a vehicle/van.
Plus Lend A Hand, will provide up to $5,000 of matching funds to provide more help to the family.
If this story hit home for you, please come to the El Zagal Shrine in Fargo, this Saturday.
Questions reguarding this event can be directed to Event Chairperson Sonya Jensen at 701-730-6242.
