If you drink coffee there's a good chance you like Kahlua, the coffee flavored, rum-based liqueur. It makes a great slow sipping cordial after dinner or you can drop a shot into a cup of coffee. Kahlua is also an ingredient in some recipes such as soaking lady fingers in tiramisu.
The only problem with Kahlua is that it's expensive. Here's a quick recipe for making Kahlua at home.
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
5 teaspoons instant coffee
Bring those ingredients to a boil and simmer for an hour. During the simmer, add 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cool and add 1 1/4 to 2 cups vodka
