I love this time of year! It's so much fun to decorate for the holidays. I wanted to show you my Christmas tablescape. I started out with a solid red tablecloth and this cute little Santa. You can use just about anything for a centerpiece! I love the little red bird on his arm. He's so whimsical and fun! And whatever you use for a centerpiece can become the theme of your table. I placed Santa on a platter and covered it with some fake snow flakes and some some red bulbs.
Here's another view of him!
I found red, round sparkly placemats and used gold charger plates, then solid red dinner plates and then plates trimmed in holly and one small bread plate and a sparkly gift on each plate. (I found those at the dollar store) My old crystal candle sticks flanked on each side of Santa.
Red goblets and gold flatware! I love red and gold!
I used sheer gold, red and green napkins bunched up and wrapped with little jingle bells napkin holders!
That look was fun, but THEN I WENT SHOPPING! And found these red and white plates with the little bird on them, so I switched the plates out. I like the bird plates better, because it mimics the red bird on Santa's arm! Don't be afraid to mix stuff up and switch things around until you get it the way you like it. Sometimes taking pictures of your settings, then looking back gives you a different perspective of how it looks.
Here's another view! I also found those cute little peppermint votive candle holders and added those too!
And here's another view! It is so fun to mix and match and use what you have!
I hope you enjoyed this Holiday setting!
